One of the competitors in the Invictus Games will visit Woodlands on 17th January.
Last year Woodlands were visited by Olympic diver James Denny and the school raised a lot of money in sponsorship.
This year, we are lucky to have a visit from an Invictus Games competitor. The Invictus Games was formed by Prince Harry for injured servicemen around the world to compete in a range of different sports. The competition is a fantastic, inspirational event and our visitor will engage all the children in exercise and then do an assembly.
Just like last year, it will provide a tremendous opportunity to raise money for the school to purchase additional equipment for sports activities.
